This is an acquired taste but is great for relaxing in the evening next to the fire.
This tea is known as Lapsang Souchong, or the smoked black tea. It comes from the same region where Bohea Lapsang originates. It has an extra step after frying, the tea leaves are hung in baskets over smoking pine wood fires to give the smoky characteristic.
Brewing Guide:Use 3gr or 1 teespoon of tea for 250ml or 1 cup water. Boil fresh filtered water and allow to cool to 90°C. Infuse for 1 minute or longer if a stronger taste is preferred.
