About the Egg
Using the finest Peruvian organic cocoa butter to give their perfect texture, we slowly toast milk powder which packs the most perfect nutty caramel flavour. Then paired with Cornish sea salt which, we grind into the chocolate itself which gives a lovely rounded flavour.
The Process
All our chocolate is stone ground for at least 2 days in small 10kg batches. This allows us to get the perfect smooth texture and flavour. It’s not the effortless way, but it’s the best way and we love it. All our cocoa butter is sourced from organic fair-trade farms. We believe in giving a fair price for our cocoa.
These products are truly handmade, we do not use any machines for tempering, moulding, or wrapping. Due to this, there will be some occasional marks on the products from the heat of our hands when pressing the foil. We do wear gloves, but it can sometimes show, but we believe this is part of the Artisan charm.
