Handcrafted dairy-free stomach hugging cheese, fabulously fermented. 

Founded by Lucie, a trained biologist and a food lover, so it’s not altogether surprising that her two passions have come together in the shape of Bath Culture House. She began the venture in May 2016 while working as a cheesemaker, but swapped dairy for plants to explore the wonderful world of fermentation. As a self-confessed microbe and gut health geek, Lucie wanted to create vegan, gluten-free and ‘tummy-loving’ food and drink by going back to basics and using clean ingredients.

The results are four handmade products, beautifully designed in plastic-free packaging. Four types of vegan ‘chease’ complete their current line-up: garlic and herb, sumac and cumin, activated charcoal and smoked chipotle chilli. Bath Culture House uses organic ingredients wherever possible, including all the cashew nuts used in the ‘chease’ making process, and works with local suppliers for sourcing.
