China Jasmine with Flowers Loose Leaf Tea
The unmistakeable scent of Jasmine blossoms, beautifully blended with tea, makes for a delicious, sweet, fruity and delicate drink.
Production of Jasmine tea is quite interesting! It begins with high quality green tea - tea that has been produced between the middle of March and the middle of May.
Fine Jasmine blossoms are equally important to the process, and traditionally, many layers of them were placed between fine green tea during planting, so that in time, the scent of the Jasmine permeated the tea.
Chantler Teas's Jasmine tea is made using that same traditional method.
Comes in a range of formats:
- A 80g retail box of loose leaf tea (100* cups)
- A 50g bag of loose leaf tea (50* cups)
- A 75g caddy of loose leaf tea
- A 200g bag of loose leaf tea (200* cups)
*(based on 3g per serving, 3 times.)
Please use the options on the right-hand side to choose.
Brewing: Use one teaspoon per person and don't be too generous. Pour on water that has been boiled and then allowed to cool for 5 mins, and leave about 2 minutes to infuse. Drink on its own without milk or sugar. Jasmine tea will provide a second or even a third brewing of excellent tea from the same leaves, which will have less caffeine and subtly different flavours.
Chantler Teas are a Pembrokeshire based family business run by tea enthusiasts who hope to convert as many people as they can to the delicious (and healthy!) delight that is loose leaf tea drinking.
All their teas are carefully sourced from small privately owned plantations who are signatories to Fair-trade and/or the Ethical Tea Partnership.
