While there are thousands of hot sauces available, only a handful have been through the fermentation process.
Eaten Alive have expertly combined chillies and pepers, a little onion, garlic and salt, then submerged in a brine and fermented at room temperature for several weeks. Then they blend it with raw, unfiltered cider vinegar and cane sugar. The result is an addictive, satisfyingly savoury sauce that provides a well rounded and rich heat. Intense, but also full of nuance and flavour.
