Barrel Aged Coffee - Light to Medium Roast
A stunning new coffee experience to be enjoyed after dinner or any time. Edson Taylor ages coffee beans in Scottish Whisky barrels for fifteen days, periodically rolling the barrels to ensure maximum exposure of all the green beans to the aromas. Our barrels come from the finest distilleries in Scotland and this is reflected in it's taste!
After ageing the beans are slow roasted to a light to medium roast to produce the ideal flavour balance of whisky and coffee. Their coffee can be compared to Irish Coffee, but its much more, taking you on a culinary journey through the notes of anise, molasses and of course whisky!
