Award winning Organic Gin with Pear and Sea Buckthorn
Organic Gin from British Agroforestry showcasing the taste and aroma of British wild flower meadows and orchards presented in a beautifully textured 100% post consumer recycled glass bottle. Ideal for keeping and refilling from our innovative refill pouches.
Agroforestry is using pioneering agriculture combining trees, plants, crops and livestock farmed together in order to build soil health and organic matter.
The distinct flavour profile of Sea buckthorn, an emerging superfood, is mellowed out by the pear, fresh honey and herbal notes. Enjoy neat over ice or combined with tonic for a classic G&T. Our gin also acts as a perfect ingredient in cocktails and cooking and we add a 'Ginspiration' booklet to all orders to guide you in your discovery.
Always with sustainability in mind and the rise in conscious consumer, the bottle itself is made from 100% post consumer recycled glass giving beutiful imperfections in the bottle, coupled with a recyclable mineral paper label and seal finished with soft wooden cork.
Refillable pouches are then available to refill your gin bottle. When finished, customers can post the refill pouches back to Helen Browning’s Organic who will then recycle them.
Helen Browning’s family has farmed at Eastbrook Farm for 67 years and takes pride in forward-thinking farming methods, seeking out ways to farm that are as good as they possibly can be for people, farm animals and nature.
In this way, the farm has been experimenting with agroforestry. The farm, therefore, is an oasis of wild birds, deer and a vibrant insect population alongside free-range livestock that all thrive among the pollen and flowers of sea buckthorn, dog rose, wild crab apple and pear trees in the agroforestry and 50 miles of hedgerows.
CEO of the Soil Association, Helen Browning says, “Our farm is at the heart of everything we do. Our agroforestry project is already making a positive impact on the soil on which we depend and the wildlife that live on the land. Now, excitingly, we can capture Eastbrook Farm in a bottle – and it’s delicious!”
The first smell is delicate floral aromas of wild flower meadows and orchards. On tasting, herbaceous and herbal notes, wild berries and fresh honey. Great for sipping neat on or off the rocks or combining with your favourite mixer.
