Handcrafted from bean-to-bar by multi award-winning chocolate maker Luisa, multi award-winning chocolate maker, at her little chocolate makery in Nottingham, alongside her daughter Isabella. Made using directly sourced cacao from David Kebu's farm in the Solomon Islands. We pay our farmers up to 69% more. Made with love. Casholate is the first plant-based m*lk chocolate bar that Luisa made, and is now a cult favourite. Luisa uses cashew nuts for ultimate creaminess, blended with her multi award-winning Solomon Islands chocolate, making for an extremely velvety and smooth bar.
Next, Luisa decided to use Hazelnuts, homage to her Italian roots, and experimented by roasting them, skins still on, and blending them with her multi award-winning Solomon Islands chocolate to make for a delicious smooth bar with a real taste of authentic Hazelnuts. It's delicious.
Our newest addition to the family is our Choc-Oat-Late, which is made with oat milk. This is our first alternative bar that does not use nuts, and so getting the creamy mouthfeel right was imperative and took trial and errors in the making, along with lots of taste-testing from her daughter Isabella. It is finally ready for you all to try and has a delightful buttery caramel taste, and we are so excited to see what you think!
Once upon a time, Luisa was a textiles teacher that always carried chocolate in her bag. (You may be able to see her artistic affinity in her artisan creations). Now, Luisa & daughter Isabella handcraft multi worldwide award-winning bean-to-bar chocolate from her small-scale, ethical chocolate makery in Nottingham. We are passionate about our fine quality craft chocolate, and pay our farmers a better-than-fair price for their great beans.Luisa makes all her chocolate with love from the beans all the way to the bar, with autonomy over every step of the process. This begins with directly sourcing the finest quality cacao from volcanic islands. The team have been out to meet the farmers to ensure ethical working conditions, teach them how to cultivate, and build strong and powerful relationships. This has made a significant difference to communities across the globe.
