Single estate extra virgin olive oil from olives grown and pressed in the foothills of the Atlas Mountains in Morocco.

Co-founder Gordon and his wife went to Morocco 10 years ago and discovered some lesser known areas with a long heritage of growing olives and producing this 'liquid gold'. This was the initial inspiration for Morocco Gold, the first Moroccan extra virgin olive oil in the UK market. Their British-Moroccan partnership combines a lifetime’s experience within the UK food and drinks industry with Moroccan heritage and centuries of local harvesting knowledge.

Morocco Gold is produced by a cooperative which encourages women into agriculture, with olives hand-picked by local people in Beni-Mellai region and cold-pressed within 24 hours to guarantee extra virgin quality. The result is a superior olive oil, fresh and vibrant with a green fruitiness and a distinctive ‘pepperiness’. It is considered a superfood as it's rich in polyphenols which are associated with various health benefits.

Morocco Gold's premium olive oil was chosen as a Gold Award Winner in the Food Talk Awards 2018. Morocco Gold's launch was celebrated at Fortnum and Mason and was attended by Moroccan ambassadors; Soumia Bouhamidi, the Deputy Head of Mission for the Moroccan Embassy in the UK and Marouan Abousif, the embassy’s Economic Counsellor. Recognising Morocco Gold’s unique efforts to showcase Morocco’s quality exports to UK consumers, they committed their support of the extra virgin olive oil brand.
