Nilgiri means 'blue mountain', and refers to a mountain tea district in the South of India high above the plains, where top quality teas are cultivated. The taste and freshness are reminiscent of the best Ceylon's, but typically are sweeter in the cup.Organically grown.
Bright amber colour, leafy, refreshing, and a delicate taste.
Brewing Advice: One heaped teaspoon per mug. Add fresh, boiling water (100ºC), steep for three or four minutes according to taste.
