Green Matcha Smoothie Bowl
You’ve got to love a green smoothie right? I think it’s the perfect way of getting some greens in the morning - one of my new favourite additions is matcha powder. I love the little boost you get and it's packed full of anti-oxidants. This recipe couldn’t be simpler, you just throw all the ingredients into your food processor or blender and blitz until smooth and creamy.
You might want to add a little sweetener like maple syrup or agave if you prefer a sweeter smoothie bowl, but if you use ripe bananas it's sweet enough. For this smoothie bowl I topped with chia seeds, berries, kiwi's and coconut flakes.
- 2 frozen bananas
- 2 handfuls greens (Baby Kale or Spinach)
- 1 tsp nut butter
- Splash nut milk
- 1 tsp matcha powder
- Chia seeds
- Buckwheat grouts
- Toasted Coconut Flakes
Simply add all the ingredients to into your food processor and blitz until smooth and creamy, then add your toppings of choice.
