Breakfast Fruit Smoothie Bowl

Are you in need of an energy boost in the morning? Then your answer is sugar, baby! And we’re not talking about processed, sugary chocolate cereal. We’re talking about all natural, super good-for-you fruit sugars. The perfect start to any morning.
This smoothie bowl is quick, easy and so tasty. Here’s the recipe:
Ingredients:
- 1 large fresh banana
- 1/2 cup fresh strawberries and raspberries
- 1 cup frozen, cubed mango
- 1/4 – 1/2 cup almond milk (depending on how thick you’d like it to be)
Method:
Blend, then top your smoothie bowl with anything your heart desires! Whether that’s more fruit, granola, peanut butter, dried fruit, nuts or seeds. I topped mine with rolled oats, goji berries, raisins and a sprinkle of chia seeds.
Eating fresh fruit first thing in the morning is so beneficial to your digestive system, as the digestive process for fruit happens very quickly, so your system can get fired up straight away. This also means that you absorb more nutrients more quickly. This is amazing as most fruits are full of fibre, vitamins and minerals, which can help to protect and fight against disease and lower rates of cardiovascular problems.
