Chocolate and Peanut Butter 'Milkshake'
Let's be real here; chocolate is the best. Peanut butter is the best. So this healthy spin on a classic milkshake just had to happen!
This is such a thick and creamy mid-afternoon treat for if you have a bit of a sweet craving - it's a perfect combination of carbs, protein and healthy fats and tastes like a choc and pb dream..
- 1 fresh banana
- 1 frozen banana
- 1/3 cup almond milk
- 1.5 tbsp cacao powder
- 1 heaped tbsp peanut butter
- 1/2 tsp maca powder (optional)
- Optional toppings: hemp seeds, cacao nibs, chia seeds..
Blend all the ingredients together in a blender, until smooth. Pour into a glass, add your topping, take a sip and fall head over heels in love. You can thank me later..
