Healthy Fruit and Nut Chocolate Bark Recipe

When I get the urge to eat chocolate, my favourite being fruit and nut, I always make this really quick and easy recipe - did I mention it's really healthy too? Yes, chocolate that is good for you!

As I mentioned in my previous post, raw cacao is one of the richest sources of antioxidants, containing more than 300 nutritional compounds. And coconut oil has been linked to a number of health benefits. When the two are combined, you've got yourself an amazing superfood that tastes absolutley declious.

Here's the recipe....

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon of Raw Cacao Powder
  • 1 tablespoon of Agave Nectar
  • Half a cup of Coconut Oil
  • A handful of mixed dried fruit and nuts

Method:

Simply mix all the ingredients together in a bowl. Next, spread the mix in a Tupperware box or baking tray and freeze for an hour or so. Then remove from the freezer and break the chocolate and there you have your fruit and nut bark!
