Raw Chocolate Brownies With Chocolate Peanut Butter Sauce

These raw chocolate brownies with chocolate peanut butter sauce makes for a deliciously indulgent, but totally guilt-free dessert. Sure to have you going back to the fridge for more, and great to serve when you have non-vegan friends coming round for dinner! They'll never guess it's dairy-free and packed with healthy ingredients.
For the full nutritional impact, make sure you use a good quality peanut butter which doesn't contain palm oil or any other nasties.
Ingredients:
For the Raw Chocolate Brownies:
- 1 cup Pecans
- 1 cup Dates
- 5 Tbsp Cacao powder
- 4 Tbsp Shredded Coconut
- 2 Tbsp Light Agave
- Pinch of Sea Salt
For the Chocolate Peanut Butter Sauce:
- Handful of dates
- 2 Tbsp Cacao
- 1 Tbsp Smooth Peanut Butter
- 1 Tsp Coconut Oil
- 100ml Water
Method:
Brownies:
Blitz the Pecans until small and crumbly. Add the dates and carry on blending until sticky and well processed. Can take a few minutes so be patient! Add the remainder of the ingredients until dark and well combined. Put them in a square tin and put in the fridge for a while before cutting in to shape.
Chocolate and Peanut Butter Sauce:
Add all the ingredients apart from the water into a blender. Start blending and add water a little bit at a time. This does take a while to blend around 10 minutes but worth it! Blend until nice and smooth. Add to your brownies before you gobble the lot!
