Chocolate and Banana Chia Crumble
Now the weather is a little bit cooler, it's always nice to warm up with a bowl of something hearty and delicious. I love hot puddings on a cool Autumnal day, and this one is jam packed with healthy ingredients - win, win!
If you're really in the mood for chocolate then you could add your very own chocolate custard to this by mixing a tablespoon of raw cacao powder with a little maple syrup and some coconut milk and pour it on top! Here's the recipe for the crumble...
Ingredients:
For the crumble:
- 1 cup of grounded almonds
- 1 cup of gluten free oats
- 1 tbsp of raw cacao powder
- 1 tbsp of chia seeds
- 3 tbsp of coconut oil
- 2 tbsp of maple syrup
For the base:
- 2 bananas chopped
- 1 tbsp of coconut sugar
- Half a cup of grated dark chocolate
Recipe:
Mix all the crumble ingredients together in a blender and leave on the side. Next, layer some oven proof dishes with banana and sprinkle the coconut sugar and grated chocolate on top. Pour the crumble mixture on top and bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes at 180 degrees.
