The Red Rudolph Cocktail

A great way to finish Christmas day, with a red Rudolph cocktail - or you could even turn this into a dessert-drink; scrap the Christmas pud and head straight onto the cocktails, without the sweet-tooth! All the ingredients are warmed up to make a sweet, yet spicy festive flavoured drink that could easily knock Mulled Wine off the top spot.
Usually this recipe requires cinnamon schnapps which are quite tricky to get your hands on and can set you back nearly £30 - perhaps because most have edible gold flakes in, very fancy. If you're not a big cinnamon schnapps drinker and would rather have something you can use again, then Spice Drops are the easy alternative. They can be used in baking, drinks and other tasty dishes but most importantly, in this cocktail. All you need is a couple of drops and you've enahnced the flavour by a mile!
Ingredients:
(Serves 1)
- 15ml orange curacao
- 20 ml gin
- 15 ml vodka
- 175 ml cranberry juice
- 1-2 drops of Cinnamon Spice Drops
- Sweetened whipped cream
Method:
- Heat the cranberry juice until it’s quite hot (800c)
- Pour all other liquids into a glass or Irish coffee mug and then slowly add the hot juice
- Top it with whipped cream and garnish with coloured sugar sprinkles.
And now you can warm up...
