Salmon or Chicken Marinade for Barbecue

Ingredients:for Marinade

  • 3 all butter scones
  • 100ml whipping cream or double cream
  • 2 drops of Rose Spice Drops
  • 2 tbsp caster sugar
  • Strawberry jam
  • Fresh strawberries for garnishing

Ingredients:for basting and garnish

  • 4 dessert spoons clear honey
  • juice of 1 lime
  • Fresh coriander for garnish

Preparation: After the marination is done place fish, chicken or Paneer in an oven proof
dish and baste with half the honey, lime juice and place in oven to cook according to the
weight of fish or chicken. About 20 minutes for the paneer. Paneer are best cooked on
skewers. Baste again with the rest of the honey half way through cooking time. This will
give a glaze to the meat or Paneer and not char while it cooks.
