Chickpea Curry with Garam Masala Spice Drops

Ingredients

  • 3 tins of chickpeas
  • 2 medium sized onions pureed
  • 3 garlic cloves finely chopped
  • 1 tsp crushed ginger
  • 4 tomatoes, pureed
  • 2 tbsp cooking oil
  • Salt to taste
  • 4-5 drops of Garam masala Spice Drops
  • 2 drops of Turmeric Spice Drops
  • 2 drops of Red chilli Spice Drops
  • 3 drops of Cumin seed Spice Drops
  • Coriander or spring onion for garnishing

 


Method

  1. Take the oil in a pan and fry onions, garlic, ginger on a low flame until the onion starts to brown. Add the tomato puree. Let it cook on low flame until the oil starts to leave the sauce.
  2. Add the chickpeas and some water to get a slightly runny consistency, and cook for 20 minutes until sauce thickens. Now add in the Spice Drops and mix well. Turn off the heat and leave covered for 2 minutes. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves or chopped spring onions.
