50g Tin of Lost Malawi English Breakfast.
A single estate English Breakfast loose leaf black tea.
Handcrafted loose leaf black tea blended from various harvests across one small, independent tea garden in the Shire Highlands of Malawi - The Satemwa Estate.
Tasting Notes
Deep, rich and malty, notes of caramel and burnt sugar. Delicious black, becoming sweet and chocolatey with the addition of milk.
Infusion Guide
We recommend using 2.5g of tea per 150ml of water.
If you're drinking this tea without milk we recommend using water at 85°C-90°C. If you are adding milk use boiling water.
Infuse for 1-2 minutes to your taste.
The leaves can be infused at least twice - as the leaves soften and unfurl, new flavours are revealed.
This tea goes splendidly with lots of dishes from eggs and bacon to clotted cream and scones.
Storage and shelf life: The BBE of the sealed pouch of tea is 5 years. Once the pouch is open and decanted into the storage tin, we recommend drinking it within 6 months.
