Organic Riesling From Baden-Württemberg in Germany
Weingut Karl Haidle is one of the oldest wine growing estates in the lovely Rems Valley (Remstal) near Stuttgart. Unlike almost all other portions of the Würrtemberg wine growing district, the wine village of Stetten (part of the Kernen municipal district) is best known for its Rieslings.
A third generation winemaker, Moritz Haidle is focusing his efforts on growing organic Riesling and Pinot Noir. He has recently won winemaker of the year and is making high quality wines which express great freshness of the fruit, combined with great acidity and minerality.
On the nose, fresh lime, lemon and green apple. The palate is clean with excellent citrus fruit and a great acidic backbone.
If you are looking to pair this organic white wine with food then Chinese takeaway will work well, but make sure you order a spicy dish.
This is a 75cl bottle and contains 13% alcohol. It is a 2018 vintage wine and should be consumed before December 2021.
This is a certified organic product in compliance with EU regulations.
