A vegan French patisserie, with a passion for the environment very close at heart.

This state of the art French patisserie was founded by Clarisse Flon, a specialist Vegan Patisserie chef. She grew up in France where everything was always cooked from scratch and developed a passion for food very early on. She turned to veganism in 2012 after battling a chronic digestive illness for years. 

Being trained in classic french patisserie, Clarisse worked in many fine dining establishments around the world including Hotel Cheval Blanc, Hotel Cafe Royal in London, and many more. Around this time she was developing plant based versions of her traditional recipes.  

Then, at the age of 20(!) she launched The Sunny Spoon. The Sunny Spoon focuces on being sustainable all the way around. From packaging in entirely recyclable boxes, to creating cinnamon rolls from offcuts of croissant doughs, to minimising small deliveries and organising drop off as efficiently as possible to save on carbon emissions.
