Harvested from the sweet chestnut trees in the forests of Dordogne in France “C’est exquis”.
Natural & unprocessed.
The taste: A unique honey, not too sweet with an almost bitter, strong aromatic aftertaste. Very popular by those who like a strong honey with a difference. Can be dark in colour, ranging from yellowish brown to almost black, it has an aromatic, pungent herbal aroma and taste. It is rich in pollen content, mineral salts and tannin. Excellent with aged cheeses like Stracchino or Ricotta or even the Tuscan way; drizzled over a piece of Pecorino Toscano with fresh pears.
Two jars, because one is not enough!
227 grams per jar.
