A box of 9 delicious award winning Tamarind Sweet Potato vegan Vork pies.
Handmade vegan, plant based, pork pies and hot gravy style pies. My pies are handmade using my own palm oil free vegan hot water crust pastry recipe using the finest untreated organically sourced wheat flour and organically sourced, fair trade coconut oil . The Original Vork Pie was inspired by the traditional flavouring of a pork pie, but without the meat. They can be eaten cold with chutney as a vegan ploughman’s or in your lunchbox for work, or part of a buffet, even as part of a wedding buffet. Great for picnics or bike rides.
Very tasty gently warmed in an oven for vegan pie and mash or Sunday dinner or Vegan Christmas dinner with lashings of gravy!
All my products are vegan and handmade fresh to order in small batches, in a purpose built kitchen and free from preservatives. They are wrapped in clear biodegradable packaging. I aim to be as environmentally caring as possible.
The Tamarind Sweet Potato
A double award winning pie in 2016 and 2019 at the British Pie Awards. Full to the brim with sweet potato, chick peas, coconut, lime, tamarind and turmeric, very moreish!
My pies can be frozen upon receipt for up to 3 months, simply defrost thoroughly and warm before enjoying.
Pies have a 10 day shelf life from baking.
Keep refrigerated between 2 and 5 degrees Celsius.

Being a perishable product your order is sent in a chilled boxe made from recycled/recyclable card and the insulation is also made from recycled/recyclable paper. The ice packs can be re-used for picnics/pack lunches etc. The brown paper in your parcel is recycled/recyclable or the bubble wrap is biodegradable. The packaging tape is bought from the green stationary company so is either made from recycled plastic or made from brown polypropylene, rather than PVC. Polypropylene/PP is regarded as the ‘green’ plastic, as no harmful chemicals are used in its manufacture and,if incinerated, it only produces carbon dioxide and water.
Orders received by midday Sunday will be sent by courier on a next day service on either a Wednesday for Thursday delivery or Thursday for a friday delivery you will be contacted with your delivery date.
