Not that good

I really appreciate these chocolates being vegan. I bought the advent calendar. I have tried many vegan chocolates and thought they were better than this band, quite disappointed. The ginger flavour for eg would benefit from more ginger but it's a plan chocolate with small ginger piece on the top. And the plain chocolate didn't taste very good, in my view. I prefer brands that use nut pastes to get the milky flavour. I also prefer stronger fruity tones, some chocolates I wasn't even sure what flavour they should be as it was very mild. I also hope next year the box can be made plastic free.

The cake was nicely decorated to specification & I was pleasantly surprised to find it packed in a pretty little cake tin. On opening the cake smelled divine & tasted gorgeous. However, when I alerted them to this error, the correct item was sent out very promptly with profuse apologies and they did not want the original delivered item back (it was perishable goods). Anyone can make an error but it’s how it is dealt with that makes all the difference.

No heart-shaped tins included

The set does NOT come with heart-shaped tins. Instead, there are round paper cups ( basically like muffin cases). Very disappointed as this was purchased as a gift for a little girl and the heart-shaped bakes were a major selling point. It also means the set is pretty expensive for a packet of mix, wooden spoon and paper cases. Disappointing and will not purchase from this maker again.

I had previously bought a ginger lovers hamper for my Nephew's wife and she loved it so much that she asked for the same item for Christmas! I had a sneaky look at the biscuits and cakes when I collected the 2nd box today, it looks amazing. WOW -Shame I can only give 5 stars, this bread is amazing and the fact that it's keto is even more amazing. Cannot decide on a bacon sandwich or slice of toast for breakfast, if I can wait that long for more. Off to order more from Marilena's kitchen.
