Delicious moist round Christmas pudding full of rum cask cider soaked fruit, handmade in small batches.
This was voted one of the top five artisan Christmas puddings by Xantha Clay for the Daily Telegraph.
The cider used is produced by a local cider maker who use a variety of eating, cooking and crab apples mainly from within West Berkshire, which has been fermented and matured in oak rum barrels. The pudding is then wrapped in muslin and finished with a pretty ribbon.
After steeping the juicy currants, sultanas, raisins and figs in cider, the rest of the ingredients are combined including a special pudding spice mix. Each pudding is steamed for 6 hours, wrapped and left to mature to perfection.
To reheat, take label and ribbon off pudding, place in a colander over steaming water cover for 100 mins. Microwave, take pudding out of all wrappings, 3 minutes on high. Make sure pudding is hot in the middle.
