Healthy Cinnamon Toast
Do you ever suddenly get the craving for something incredibly sweet? A lot of people will opt for fruit or lighter dessert like yoghurt. 99% of the time this may work but this recipe is for the 1% when you just need something more, or when you just want a healthy treat!
Here's how I make my healthy cinnamon toast:
Ingredients:
- Coconut Oil
- Sliced bread (wholemeal is best)
- Cinnamon
- Sugar
Method:
Simply spread the coconut oil on both sides of the bread, sprinkle sugar and cinnamon onto one side, then place face down into a warm frying pan. While the toast is cooking, sprinkle the other half of your cinnamon and sugar onto the side facing up. When the bottom is golden brown, flip the bread and cook on the other side.
This toast is really flavourful - it goes perfectly with ripe strawberries or with banana. Make sure you try it out as a healthier way to satisfy your sweet tooth!
